Sets out requirements for the design, manufacture, marking and testing of industrial trucks and their attachments as defined in AS 1763. The Standard excludes industrial tractors. Appendices detail stability testing and the basis of stability, give guidance on noise levels, enquiries, requests for hire, orders and tenders, and approval by statutory authorities, and list the statutory authorities responsible for industrial trucks.
