AS NZS 3500.1 – 2025 Edition – Plumbing and drainage, Part 1: Water services

AS/NZS 3500 Part 1 specifies the requirements for the design, installation, and commissioning of cold water services and non-drinking water services, from the point of connection to the points of discharge.

This Standard applies to:

• New installations, and

• Alterations, additions, and repairs to existing water service installations.

Scope of AS NZS 3500.1

The document covers:

• Cold water services supplying potable water

• Non-drinking (non-potable) water services

• Water services from connection point through to all discharge outlets
